(( going to take a different approach to questions re: canonity and questions regarding plot details in NV

long whiny post ahead

seeing as how literally almost everyone is a different version of the courier with different relationships and whatnot i’m going to be handwaving away questions about people getting shot in the face or anything having to do with specific events in the NV story post-courier shooting (or something else i don’t know i’m open to suggestion)

The problem is that most people I’m interacting with here are all the Courier but just different personalities and people to interact with

so strictly speaking I would have to either A) keep track of every different canon for every different courier and act like every other courier effectively does not exist while interacting with one courier at a time or B) act as though the platinum chip switched hands between nearly every single courier in the wastes and Benny shot every single one of them in the head and failed to kill them every time (which admittedly would be Amusing As Heck but not so much plausible)

i don’t know this is just a lot to wrap my head around and it’s kind of overwhelming! i’m not saying the problem is with you guys and your couriers okay they’re all wonderful

it’s just that benny has an integral part in ALL of them and all of their interactions are wildly different at some points and exactly the same at others and it’s hard to act as if he’s involved with all of them and also none of them at the same time if that makes sense

i know this isn’t exactly a serious roleplay in any sense of the term but it’s hard to try and do it without a little consistency

i don’t know i need to think on this for a little while. if anybody has any ideas, thoughts, or chastising remarks they need to say i’d be glad to listen to them and take them into consideration ))
